Veronica's diary (laptop version)

 Here is the lore for my new sims world: A single mom named Magdelaine (Maggie) Cera lives with her daughter Juliana Cera. Currently, the Grim Reaper challenge is going on, so Little Juliana summoned Grim with the Grimophone. I was trying to get Maggie to romance Grim and it wasn't working because of his in-game preferences prevent him from doing romance in any way. So I added him into my household using cheats to change this stuff... when I closed CAS, his clothes all disappeared except the mask. and then I used even more cheats to remove his Grim Reaper trait so he could "try for baby" with Maggie ... which worked first try... then I used cheats to add the trait back (because no grim reaper = bad). SO now maggie is pregnant, Grim is out there collecting souls and Juliana has school in the morning. FYI: this all happens over the course of the first 12 hours in the game. Juliana is also BFFs with Travis Scott. 

blog lore  Yesterday at work, I told my coworker that I was going to start a blog. She said "oh, like Tumblr?" GIRL I already have a Tumblr... and a computer blog will actually maybe add more interest to my life. This coworker of mine is pretty awesome, but she told me Drakkar Noir from Raising Hope (picture on the left) was not a slay when I suggested we cosplay him for our (purely hypothetical) screamo band. She keeps telling baby boomers that they're iconic, and I don't know how to tell her they have no clue what that means. I got inspired to name this blog (veronicaslaptop) when an old lady (pushing 75) told me her email was connieslaptop @ hotmail or whatever (yes, I have a hotmail account, I am not THAT young). That was kind of iconic of Baby Boomer Connie, to be honest. And then Clara M and I went to second cup to see if the domain "veronicaslaptop" is available (it is). The party hasn't happened yet and its already falling apart. I planned a party at my house and invited everybody I know. Perhaps it was a ploy to get a gay taken man I am obsessed with there. Perhaps, indeed. But now everyone I know is either sick (due to the massive germ outbreak at Carleton University), or is studying for midterms (BOOORING). And the gay man's coworker who I am friends with and was supposed to be my in to get him at the function, but now she cancelled, so the gay man I wanted to befriend will not be there? I am well aware that throwing a whole party is kind of giving Jay Gatsby throwing a party in hopes that Daisy shows up. Also, did not realize that Tobey Maguire was in that movie.  This man needs to show up so I can check "him showing up at the social event" from my school friend bingo card.  Trying to explain this situation to my parents was a pain. They understand the dynamics of the bingo card, but every time I mention this guy, my mom is like:...
