midterm day is upon us

hey blog readers... midterm day (ie. 3 midterms in one day) is upon us. I should be in the final stages of studying. but i am writing another blog entry instead so... you win some and you lose some I guess.

I am studying for my astronomy exam on Thursday and the textbook keeps talking about a Carrington event... like yeah, darling, i KNOW who is back from jail. Related but unrelated: me and my friend Lauren were trying to call our brothers at the same time and make them talk to each other on speakerphone. Her brother was in the library and my brother didn't pick up because he's in an Uber. I told him to put me on speakerphone and I would have "darling guess who's back from jail." But my brother hates fun it seems.

I am currently at a coffee shop called Haven (I love this place it does not make me think of a wistful rainy spring day and it DEFINITELY doesn't make me think about the end). My German professor Brigit mentioned it in the first class and I was like: THIS is my academic comeback. I really hope Natasha is here again because I love staring at her like I know who she is, she knows who I am, I know her best friend, she knows my best friend, I helped her mother buy glasses, my mom remains an enigma to her. But last time when we were both here it was CRAZY. Side note: whoever invented the playlist at Haven deserves a reward.

I went to a study group with my friends from sociology and we went to crazy town studying. First off, Kelly (professor) is truly a hero because she fully read out the first four out of seven questions on the midterm in class. So we started with making up the next three questions and then we went to mind map city, which was extremely hard because everything is connected to each other and everything is connected back to Kelly's BFF Jennifer from Western (canon). Worth mentioning: everyone was talking about the coffee guest lecture guy and I WASN'T THERE. and so I googled him and announced to everyone: he is kind of from yummy town. That may have been a low point. Julia also looked at my outfit when I got to class and said it was a slay. So I did the Yared Nuguse peace sign (Blogspot won't allow me to inusert the photo... look it up) and Julia told me THAT was not a slay so ... the point is I am feeling good about this midterm.

I will not talk about my physiology because I have nothing to say except that Francoise is truly a hero for doing the online multiple choice midterm with a second attempt of only the questions you got wrong. Hopefully I don't have to send her anymore emails she is FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE in the Outlook inbox just like Ambrose vs Blackboard and the BIOL 2050 quiz 2. Technology's ability to destroy old people will never cease to amaze me.

THE END <3
