this is my academic downfall

 OKAY FIRST THINGS FIRST (unpaid promotion) ... i ordered these GORGEOUS EARRINGS on my coworker's Etsy shop. Please check it out !!! It's called The Cottontails Nook (Etsy). Their earrings are so so so cute and I got the knife ones with the blood drippy drops on them (because have you met me). They are 3D printed and are designed and printed by Kelsey's finacé. For all of y'all without pierced ears... they will eventually expand to other household-y stuff and I am so positive they will be just as cute. All I hope is that the knife is okay to wear to work because I am a shameless promoter when I need to be. But also, I don't have a boss at the moment, so who would dress code me? Also they cannot fire me because we are so extremely short staffed. Anyways, I will absolutely share photos when they arrive. 

So if you read the title, and then were immediately faced with promotional content. You know how I feel when I watch videos of people subjecting their sims to human rights violations on YouTube. Speaking of sims, last night the vampire baby was born. She is a vampire. Her name is Oyster and her moms are Juliana and Lilith Vatore. Since she will live forever, she will have many identities down the line, many hairstyles, hair colours, genders, lovers, enemies, friends. Her identity will change with each new Cera family generation. This will truly be a Veronica-ified legacy challenge and will continue to get weirder with every passing generation.

Is it a cannon event when I am destined to get at least one bad grade at some point during the semester? It's been starting out fine: As and Bs all around ... and so it begins the first C appears in German class I panic ... it was the first quiz. I then realize there is no where to go but up. Then it got much better not long after. In bio class, it comes around at the midpoint of the semester. there was a C today. But I cannot let it get me down. Also ... tell me why I was disappointed by a B??? Is this my academic downfall or a mirror image of tenth and eleventh grade academics?

 Hi everyone. I am not dead (is this how I start blog posts now?, probably). My blog has seen me through some of the most troubling times of 2024-2025 (examples: midterm day 2024, when I thought I was being followed by the ghost of my high school enemy, realizing I work for a mega-corporation and famously, thinking the guy I was into was my cousin). travel blog + trip review (feb 2026)

 I was on a trip for my fateful reading week, and it has been so lovely. As per the requests of many, I was to create a travel vlog, like I had for my Frankfurt trip (send me a message for the link!), but tbh it didn't turn out in the way I would have liked (as in I have taken very few videos). So I will take an alternate route and write about it (novel idea). I will also figure out how to add photos. Currently sitting in the Brussels airport – note to future self, bring a plastic see-through bag next time you fly through here – by the smoking area because it's the only place with tables, and I like having a table to use as a workspace.  This review will go as follows: I will review the five countries I visited + I will review the museums and touristy things I went to + I will review the food I ate (that wasn't homemade). cop or drop 2026: life is NOT embarrassing

 Something I thought to invent while reminiscing on my Trays (Trent + days) were the Trentds (Trent + trends) I followed with my Triends (Trent + friends). One that has snuck its way into modern (ie. today's) lingo is "life is embarrassing."  The cop [ja] or drop [nee] committee 2026 (aka "yay or nay," "boom or doom," "in or out") has voted to drop/ nee/ doom/ out "life is embarrassing" because, well, let's embrace the cringe this year – things are only embarrassing if you let them be, this is indeed true, I have recently realized.
